Masonry, Gables, Windows and Doors. We use a range of paints for outside use including Sandtex, Dulux, Sikkenswood Stain and Farrow & Ball exterior water based paints.

We enjoy working inside and enjoy all types of work. We use dust sheets and polophene rolls as well as floor board protectors to keep a clean work area. We also work around furniture and unmovable object with care. We complete many forms of interior work and use a variety of emulsions and woodwork paint.
- Stripping Wallpaper
- Lining Paper
- New Paper
We strip old wallpaper and make good all holes and cracks in the plaster and smooth out rough areas sanding and filling if needed . If the walls are rough or uneven we prefer to hang lining paper normally 1400 grade which is fairly thick and covers all blemishes ready to hang the top paper, we do use less graded lining or higher grades depending on the walls. When the walls are fully perpetrated and lined and dried out we hang the wall paper to the customers choice. We can use any range of wallpaper from Farrow and Ball, Zoffany, Laura Ashley and many more including normal width and extra wide coverings.
- Feature Walls
We start off with a light sand around the new plaster to make it smooth and remove any nibs from the plaster. Then use a thinned down emulsion normally McPherson eclipse emulsion to apply a base coat and seal the walls. When the paint is fully dry we apply two top coats at full strength to bring out the best results and a fantastic finish. We use many paints but McPherson emulsion can be mixed into any shade and is available on 10 litres or more making it cost effective for large plastered areas.
- High Gables
- Wall Areas
- Over objects (roof) (conservatory)
One of our customers contacted us about a large property and a few high and awkward areas that ladders and scaffold could not reach. We contacted a local hire company we use who provided a cherry picker large enough for us to complete the work. We completed all types of work from masonry of the chimneys to preparation of gables to glossing and repairs to masonry walls. We are also full insured to carry out such work.
- Garage Frames
After being contacted by a customer about woodwork problems we inspected all areas and condition prior to painting it. There were many areas of rotting wood and damage. We have our own joiner to price up the repair work. Having completed the repairs we then used oil based duluxwood primer to seal the bare wood. We then undercoat the woodwork with preparation between each coat of paint before applying a top coat of gloss or any other finish the customer would like. We use many different shades of colours and also use farrow and ball water based paints as well as dulux oil based paints.
We complete many shapes and sizes of conservatory work. We also have our own tower scaffold and use foam boards for protection as well as sheets and protectors to get around awkward areas. We prepare the conservatory by scrapping lose paint off and sanding all down to a perfect finish. We then prime up any bare wood and seal certain ares. We then undercoat or put two top coats of Sandtex exterior paint or satin finish exterior paint. This leaves a fantastic finish and bring the conservatory to life.
We done many areas of masonry paint. We remove any loose paint that may have flaked off or been removed. If nessacerywe apply anti-mound solution. We then seal all areas of the paint using a sandtex masonry sealer primer to obtain a solid and sound key to paint onto. Applying two coats of sandtexmasonry paint to the customers choice of colour. We also use dulux smooth masonry paint and a textured paint that could be used of rough walls or to blend in with exsisting coating.
